KUBOTA Corporation would like to express its deepest sympathy and condolences to the victims of the earthquake in the Sichuan province of China.

In response to this tragedy caused by Sichuan earthquake, Kubota Corporation, Japan and its affiliated companies including Kubota Engine America Corporation (KEA);

Kubota Tractor Corporation (KTC); Kubota Credit Corporation (KCC); Kubota Manufacturing of America (KMA), and Kubota Industrial Equipment (KIE) will provide approximately $400,000 toward the relief and recovery effort. KEA is providing $20,000 of this amount to the relief and recovery effort.

Our financial gifts to the Sichuan earthquake relief operation will enable groups like the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to those in need.

KUBOTA group companies sincerely hope for the quick recovery of the people and areas in China.

KEA has added a new engine and generator distributor to its existing distribution network in Central America and South America. The company is Vehiculos de Trabajo S.A. (VETRASA) located in San Jose, Costa Rica. They are located in the western part of San Jose with a facility covering 6 acres of land.
