As we approach the holidays, it’s a time for reflection, gratitude and giving back to the communities that support us. At Kubota, we believe in the power of collective action and the importance of making a positive impact. This commitment is embodied in our Kubota Kares program, where our dedicated team members come together to serve and uplift those in need!
Meal packing with Northern Illinois Food Bank
This year, the Kubota Kares team has been busy packing meals and providing resources for our local community. Our recent volunteer events have made a significant impact, including our holiday meal packing initiative. In partnership with Northern Illinois Food Bank, we brought volunteers to pack over 12,000 pounds of food – providing more than 10,000 meals for families in need during this holiday season. It was a fantastic opportunity for our team to bond while making a real difference!
As we look ahead, the goal for Northern Illinois Food Bank is ambitious: to pack 50,000 meals for the holiday season. We are proud that we contributed a small amount of time toward that goal and are excited to see them pushing toward that target.
Investing in the future
In addition to meal packing, our commitment to community support extends to financial contributions. This year, we are excited to announce a donation of $30,000 to help fund essential programs for the upcoming year. This donation will support:
- Holiday meal boxes
- Mobile markets
- Child nutrition programs
- Child backpack programs
These contributions reflect our deep gratitude for the communities we serve and our dedication to helping solve hunger.
Supporting education
Our commitment to community support doesn’t stop at food assistance. This year, we partnered with The United Way of Lake County for Stuff the Bus, a school supply drive where we packed 40 backpacks filled with essential supplies for children in need. Thanks to the generosity of our team and our fundraising efforts, we were able to make a tangible difference in the lives of local students.
Celebrating together
The Kubota Kares program isn’t just about giving back; it’s about fostering a spirit of unity and gratitude among our employees. Each volunteer event is an opportunity for our team to come together, reflect on our shared values and spread kindness throughout our community. As we move into the holiday season, we are reminded of the importance of gratitude and the impact we can have when we come together for a common cause.
At Kubota, we are thankful for the support of our community and the time our team has graciously volunteered for these Kubota Kares events. We’re excited to continue our mission of giving back in 2025!
